Ink in the Blood

Growing up David Mollet spent many weekends cleaning presses, sweeping the print shop floor and helping parents, Robert and Karen. David then went off to University of Oregon in pursuit of his degree in human development and performance, never thinking he'd return to run the family's commercial printing business. David returned a graduate, a husband, and a commercial print salesman. Today, he and wife Ali run Mollet Printing. And, while the name and commitment to service remain the same, Ali and David bring a new generation of ideas, innovations and social responsibility.

Mollet was founded in 1968 in downtown Portland near 8th and Oak Street. In 2001, Mollet relocated to current 10,000 sq.ft. commercial space at 717 NE Lombard to better address demand. The Davidson 500 and a Multilith 1850 presses have long since been replaced with Heidelberg 6-color and HP digital technologies.

Like the generation before them, David, Ali and their staff work closely with customers to understand their needs and deliver results. Both athletes, Ali and David know it takes drive, dedication and teamwork to stay in the game. These two play to win and when you say "take care of it", they do!
